Performances
Our last performances took place at the Electric Theatre Guildford on Friday, 16 July and Saturday, 17 July 2010. This was as part of a concert with the combined choirs of Remix Voices.
Our previous performance was a concert on Friday 26 March 2010 at the Borough Hall in Godalming, Surrey. This concert was in aid of the Mayor of Waverley's charity, which is Woodland Trust. We are currently awaiting to hear about how much was raised.
At the end of last year we took part in a concert, which was also the first ever performance by Remix Voices on 9th December 2009, as part of the 'Christmas Song' Concert in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care. Thanks to everybody involved for helping us to raise over £600 for the charity.
We had our main concert of 2009 at the Electric Theatre in Guildford on Saturday, 18th July 2009. This was an exciting evening at one of the top venues in the area.
The concert was attended by the Mayor of Guildford, Councillor Pauline Searle and her escort, and by the Mayor of Waverley, Councillor Mrs Pat Frost and her escort. Bill and Doreen Bellerby also attended as the guests of honour.
The evening was a sell-out, and all the profits from the concert went to the Mayor of Guildford's charity, Disability Challengers.
Also appearing were:-
Dave Smith - Guitarist
Vox Concordia - A CAPPELLA Singers
Meltdown - Barbershop Quartet
Our second public performance, which was a joint concert with Surrey Hills Singers and Surrey Hills Young Voices, took place at Cranleigh Baptist Church on 14th March 2009. Choir Remix performed a selection from the current repertoire in both halves of the concert, and the spots also featured the original quintet, Remix.
In July 2009 we also did a more informal performance in the open air at a charity barbeque at a farm in Shamley Green.
Our first ever public performance was back on 10th December 2008, as guests on the Guildford Harmony concert at the Worplesden Memorial Hall.
